ROOFING MEMBRANES ON GEODESIC STRUCTURES
Replacement of roofing membrane on existing geodesic metal structures
GEODETIC STRUCTURE is made of a lattice of steel pipes of appropriate cross-section and length, joined together by means of joints and couplings, all forming a geodesic spatial lattice. There are two types: traditional geodesics or geodesics with hanging cloth.
On TRADITIONAL GEODETICS with internal structure, the cover sheet can be placed outside, that is, leaning against the iron supporting structure and can be made:
– single outer membrane
– double membrane inflatable outer
– with outer curtain + suspended inner counter curtain
On GEODETICS WITH HANGED CANVAS, on the other hand, the cover sheet is suspended and attached by points to the joints of the structure through special discs and can be made:
– single suspended membrane
– double-membrane classical suspended
